Also, she specializes in training first aid courses for mother-infant caregivers every month. “Judy has been with UFH for 14 years, and has taken both the clinic manager and head nurse role for many years in Shunyi Clinic. She is an accountable and reliable person with a passion on her work. She is caring towards her team members and willing to take responsibility. Along with Shunyi Clinic growth for 17 years, clinics services have been expanded and patient volume has increased a lot. She is positive and active in taking the lead with the team, facing challenges and coordinating with the relevant resource in a cost-effective way. She has played a very important role in the day to day operations to ensure the quality of care and good patient experience in the clinic. She actively communicates and coordinates correspondence with clinic neighbors like schools, community and government. “Bryan, is the Facility Manager who joined PDU in October 2017. He is the pioneer in leading the facility commissioning team involved in building the new hospital during the structural stage. He is the key personnel who coordinated the new hospital construction phase and oversaw the project to ensure the infrastructure met the authority’s requirements. After the handing over of the building by the contractor, he oversaw the operation of the facilities including Engineering, Housekeeping, Security, Transport and Kitchen departments. The Kitchen department is a newly introduced service in PDU and is under his portfolio.

He is very responsive and responsible, with a lot of initiatives and is proactive in identifying problems and solving them efficiently without much guidance. He sacrifices a lot of his personal time to ensure work is done especially during the construction phase and the initial operation. He is persistent in ensuring things are completed immediately without any delay. He is resourceful and has very good interpersonal skills, and helps handle many problems arising during hospital operations without any complaint.

Dr. Li Xiaoguang was honored as “2018 UFH Way Grand Champion” by the Shanghai United Family Hospital and UFH medical expert team.

“Dr. Leon Li has been working in SHU for 11 years. He is one of the most well-loved colleagues in SHU. As ER Department Chair, he has the biggest workload among ER physicians. He keeps up department morale, and supported the PDU opening. He initiated clinical related training (e.g. coding) to part-time consultants, gave BLS/ACLS training as an experienced instructor, and acts as a Fellowship educator. Dr. Li served as Code Blue Committee Chair for many years, improving our team’s code response. Dr. Leon Li has also been leading the ER department to patient services quality which saw out a significant NPS improvement in 2018 compared to 2017. ”

“Dr Leon Li has been with Puxi for many years as a pillar of the Emergency department and has been chair of Emergency Medicine since 2016. He has always been well-respected as both a clinician and a leader. However, this year there has been substantial staffing issues in the department and other pressures. During this time, he has provided a calm presence both for his team and in the hospital. He has also sacrificed many hours of his own time in order to make-up for the shortfall and keep the department running. He is always there for his staff and for his patients. As well as being an excellent doctor, he is committed to improving patient care and shows at all times a caring attitude with both patients and staff.”

Yidan is a true team player and shows the UFH pride in everything she does. She is always ready and able to teach and support any UFH team member. Able to not only give technical advice but also practical instructions to help make the work go more smoothly. “Wang Ping, BJH Infection Control Nurse Manager and UFH Infection Control Nurse consultant, has been leading the team in setting up the standards for preventing controlling infections, recognizing and isolating outbreaks of infectious diseases, collecting and analyzing data on the incidence of healthcare associated infection (HAI) and providing various prevention strategies. She has also made great contributions to setting up UFH new facilities, training infection control nurse managers, and providing ongoing support to facility infection control nurse managers.”
