The United Family Healthcare medicine curriculum is adapted from family medicine training programs in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and etc.
The UFH Family Medicine Fellowship Program was created to meet the staffing needs of our primary care clinics.
1.Master’s degree or above in Clinical Medicine (Western medicine)
2.Priority is given to candidates who have completed national resident medical training in China with clinical work experience in hospitals at international medical standards.
3.Strong Mandarin and English communication skills.
4.Critical and flexible thinking, and a strong desire to learn.
Training Curricula:
1.The whole training curriculum is divided into three phases; incumbent doctors will obtain increasing opportunities for independent medical practice with gradual promotion.
2.The tutor of the cycling department determines whether or not the period should be deemed as having been passed according to the performance estimation of incumbent training doctors and performance in related examinations.
3.The curriculum of each phase lasts for an average of 12 months and is decided according to the former training effects of incumbent doctors and current training effects.
During the Training Process:
1.Take part in classes compiled by family doctors with experience in training resident pharmacists in America, the UK, Canada and Australia.
2.Receive instructional training from an international medical team consisting of family doctors who were trained and have practiced in China and around the world.
After the Successful Completion of Training:
1.You can work in an English-speaking international medical healthcare environment.
2.You can help United Family Healthcare and China in training other family doctors.
3.You can obtain employment qualifications from United Family Healthcare.
The United Family Healthcare (UFH) Emergency Medicine Training Program (EMTP) is curriculum and format is adapted from, and adheres as closely as possible to, the core requirements of the American College of Graduate Medical Education’s emergency medicine residency programs in the United States.
Our goal is to train Chinese physicians to practice emergency medicine at the highest standard of care.
The UFH EMTP is a three-year program of study and clinical practice, where trainees are expected to hit clearly delineated milestones of clinical competence and medical knowledge.
1.Master level (or higher) medical degrees
2.Have finished the three-year residency rotation programs mandated by the Chinese government. With experience within international-standard healthcare facilities are encouraged to apply.
3.Good English and Mandarin skills
4.Critical thinking skills, flexibility, and a desire and willingness to learn
Learning and development
During Training:
1.Participate in a curriculum written by experienced emergency medicine faculty with previous experience in emergency medicine residency programs in the United States
2.Be mentored by an international team of emergency medicine physicians who have trained in and practice emergency medicine in China and all over the world
3.Take regular assessments similar to examinations offered in the United States to emergency medicine residents
Upon Successful Completion:
1.Will be able to work in an English speaking international healthcare environment comfortably
2.Help train other emergency medicine physicians for UFH and China
3.Be eligible for full employment at one of UFH’s markets. UFH physicians have competitive compensation and benefits
Nursing graduates that join United Family Healthcare are provided with a year-long trainee nurse project starting from every August.
Training is given in the forms of lectures and clinical practice, involving basic clinical and specialist care, communication skills, nursing professionalism, critical thinking, leadership, English skills and United Family Healthcare’s values and policies.
To help nursing graduates become well-trained nursing clinicians who meet the nursing working standards of United Family Healthcare.

United Family Healthcare runs its 1-year Resident Pharmacist program starting in August every year.
Trainees who finish this program and pass the examination will become pharmacists of United Family Healthcare.
